Vacancy Announcement - Poverty and Homelessness Board
The Lane County Board of Commissioners, through the Human Services Division (HSD), is seeking applications from qualified individuals, residing in Lane County, to serve on the Poverty and Homelessness Board. There are three (3) seats open at this time.
One Lived Expertise Seat (Voting Member) – Seeking individuals who have lived experience and expertise with poverty and/or homelessness. There is a high interest in applicants who have experienced homelessness within the last seven years and/or homelessness/poverty in Lane County, outside of the Eugene/Springfield urban area.
One At-Large Elected Official in Lane County (Voting Member) – Seeking elected leaders who have an interested in utilizing best practices to reduce poverty and homelessness.
One Community Stakeholder Seat (Non-Voting Member) – Seeking individuals who represent organizations with a focus on supporting those who are unhoused – e.g.; training & employment, direct service provider, philanthropy, Behavioral health providers, school districts, Veteran serving group.
