Traffic safety is a top priority for Lane County. In July 2017, the Lane County Board of Commissioners adopted a Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP) to proactively respond to fatal and severe-injury collisions with preventative engineering, enforcement, and education actions. Traffic Engineering investigates all fatal collisions on Lane County roads to consider countermeasures for preventing future collisions.
