23rd Street

23rd Street (Yolanda Avenue to Viewmont Avenue) has an asphalt surface and painted centerline striping, but there is no shoulder area or other facilities for walking and biking. The initial concept for walking improvements is an asphalt side path along the school property, on the outside of the existing ditches and utility poles. To connect students to the nearest intersection, the path could possibly transition to a traditional sidewalk along the single property located between the school and Viewmont Avenue. ADA ramps are anticipated at the affected intersections, 23rd/Yolanda and 23rd/Viewmont.
