Master Recycler program

Next Master Recycler course starts in September
Enrollment is open for the Fall 2023 Lane County Master Recycler Class. If you want to learn how our local and regional recycling system works, this class is for you. Attendance is free in exchange for helping your friends and neighbors to achieve their waste reduction and recycling goals.

Meet at the Waste Management Division (3100 E 17th Ave.) from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Sept. 13. Contact Kelly Bell, Master Recycler Program Coordinator, at

Master Recyclers

Over the last year, Lane County Master Recyclers have volunteered over 1,044 hours and shared their waste prevention expertise with over 4,300 people in the community. Every fall and spring, Lane County hosts a free nine-week course for 30 people to learn about the complex systems of waste management and recycling. Want to learn more?
