BID TERMS & CONDITIONS:

DEPOSIT: If you are the successful bidder on a property, you will be notified by Lane County. At that time, a deposit in the amount of 20% of the total bid offer will be due. Only cash or certified funds will be accepted. If your deposit is not received within 24 hours of being notified that you are the successful bidder, your bid will be forfeited, and the property will be offered to the next highest bidder. 

BALANCE: The balance of the total bid offer plus $100 recording fee is due no later than 5 business days following the bid opening. Only cash or certified funds will be accepted. Once bids are accepted by the Board of County Commissioners, a Quitclaim Deed will be executed, recorded and delivered to the buyer.



Properties are sold "as-is, where is" with all faults. Lane County does not offer a warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, as to the physical/environmental condition of the property, location of property boundaries, condition of title, whether lots were legally created according to Oregon Land Use law, existence of legal access or the ability to acquire permits for building, subsurface, sewerage or other development rights under Oregon Land Use law. Buyers are encouraged to fully research the parcel they are bidding on. All final bid amounts are subject to the approval of the Lane County Board of Commissioners.
