Deerhorn County Park, just off Highway 126 near Springfield, is a quiet riverside park nestled along the scenic McKenzie River. Surrounded by forest, this peaceful retreat offers a variety of ways to enjoy the outdoors whether you're casting a line or enjoying a quiet afternoon under the canopy
The park features picnic tables, a grill, and a swing set, making it a great spot for all ages. Gentle paths wind along the river through the trees, offering opportunities for a stroll, wildlife viewing, or simply relaxing by the water.
According to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's "65 Places to Fish in Lane County" article, the park provides bank access and a boat launch for trout, salmon and steelhead fishing.
