Eagle Rock

Park Description

The park is temporarily closed as of July 25, 2025 for the construction of a new picnic shelter.

Eagle Rock Park in Vida, OR is a popular off-river day-use site along the McKenzie River, known for its easy access and quiet surroundings. Nestled along 13.3 forested acres with 655 feet of river frontage, the park sits opposite the striking Eagle Rock—a volcanic monolith that rises more than 250 feet above the river. While parking is limited, it remains a favorite spot for picnicking, especially for those taking a break from nearby river adventures.

Lane County Parks is in the process of installing a new picnic shelter with ADA pathways and one ADA parking spot, enhancing accessibility while providing more opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of the McKenzie River.
