Westlake Park

Park Description

Westlake Park is a scenic park on Siltcoos Lake, located south of Florence off Pacific Avenue. The park features a boat ramp with plenty of room to turn trailers around, making launching easy for fishing and paddling. Visitors can enjoy the picnic area with a grill, a fishing pier, and access to the Siltcoos Canoe Trail, a three-mile route through calm waters that leads to the Pacific Ocean.

A lifejacket loaner station is available for safe boating. Siltcoos Lake, the largest lake on the Oregon Coast at 3,164 acres, is relatively shallow with an average depth of 11 feet and is well-known for warm-water fishing. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot a variety of birds and other animals along the lake and trail. Restroom facilities include a vault toilet onshore and a floating toilet on the lake.
