Foundations of Belonging Trainings 2026: During this 1-hour training, we will learn, engage, and begin to define what a culture of belonging in Lane County is.
- This foundational content is offered every other month starting in March and alternates between virtual and in person sessions. Registration available on LEAP here.
- These are the scheduled trainings for 2026: March 24, 2026, from 3-4 PM (virtual), May 28, 2026, from 10-11 AM (in person at Public Works), July 20, 2026, from 12-1 PM (virtual), September 30, 2026, from 3-4 PM (in person at Developmental Disability Services), December 10, 2026, from 11 AM – 12 PM (virtual).
Across the Bridge: The Story of Eugene's First Black Community (in-person)
- This documentary, released in 2024, tells the story of Eugene's first Black neighborhood, Ferry Street Village, which was demolished by Lane County in 1949 to make way for the Ferry Street Bridge. We will watch the documentary and have a discussion. Registration available on LEAP here.

Equity Program Advisory Board (EPAB): The next regular meeting is on April 28, 2026.
- EPAB welcomed three new alternate members during the January meeting!
